Egypt’s Grand Mufti’s Advisor commemorates Orlando shooting victims
Dr. Ibrahim Negm, advisor to the Grand Mufti of Egypt, spoke yesterday during the memorial service held outside the New York Federal Hall to commemorate the victims of the Orlando shootings, saying that targeting human life through any means of attack is strictly prohibited in Islam. He said that there is no greater weapon against extremism than the dissemination of the true teachings of religion.
“Anti-Muslim rhetoric helps ISIS tremendously,” he added. “They use it as a tool to recruit youth and to justify its terrorist actions.”
