Egypt’s Grand Mufti, Dr. Shawki Allam, mourned the death of Sheikh Usmankhan Alimov, Uzbekistan’s mufti, Chairman of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan and member of the General Secretariat for Fatwa authorities Worldwide.

Dr. Allam praised the influential efforts exerted by the late Sheikh to serve Muslims worldwide and in central Asia.

The Grand Mufti expressed his sincere condolences to the family, students and entire Muslim world and supplicated to God Almighty to shower the late Sheikh with His infinite mercy and grant him forgiveness.
