His Eminence Dr. Nazir Mohamed Ayyad, the newly appointed Grand Mufti of Egypt and President of the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide, was congratulated by a delegation from Al-Azhar, including Dr. Muhammad Al-Duwaini, Deputy Sheikh of Al-Azhar, and Dr. Salama Dawood, President of Al-Azhar University.

The meeting emphasized that Egypt's Dar Al-Ifta, under Dr. Ayyad's leadership, will operate closely with all sectors of Al-Azhar to unify efforts in promoting accurate religious awareness and providing balanced fatwas globally. The delegation also included Dr. Mahmoud Sadiq, Vice President of Al-Azhar University, and other senior scholars from Al-Azhar Sheikhdom.
