Egypt’s Dar Al-Ifta Hosts International Symposium on Promoting Intellectual Security
Under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Egypt’s Dar Al-Ifta will host an international symposium on December 15-16 in Cairo, under the umbrella of the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide. The event, titled "The Role of Fatwa in Safeguarding Intellectual Security," will bring together distinguished scholars, muftis, and Islamic affairs ministers from around the world. The symposium aims to highlight the crucial role of fatwas in promoting intellectual security and addressing contemporary intellectual challenges.
On the sidelines of the event, Egypt’s Dar Al-Ifta will announce the launch of the Imam Al-Layth Ibn Sa’ad Center for the Jurisprudence of Coexistence, which aims to become a global beacon for promoting the jurisprudence of coexistence and peace through the revival and study of the heritage of the esteemed Egyptian Imam Al-Layth Ibn Sa’ad.
