The Launch of Imam Al-Layth Ibn Sa'ad Center for Fatwas on Coexistence

Egypt's Dar Al-Ifta has inaugurated the Imam Al-Layth Ibn Sa'ad Center for Fatwas on Coexistence during the closing session of its first international symposium titled "The Role of Fatwa in Achieving Intellectual Security.

An introductory documentary showcased the center’s vision, objectives, and its pivotal role in promoting moderation and fostering peaceful coexistence. The center seeks to revive the legacy of Imam Al-Layth Ibn Sa'ad by publishing his works and hosting annual seminars to address contemporary Islamic thought. It also aims to combat hate speech through targeted training programs and specialized research. Key initiatives include launching a digital library, developing academic platforms to advance moderate jurisprudence, fostering global partnerships, and encouraging youth engagement in research. This center represents a significant step toward promoting tolerance, peaceful coexistence, and the values of moderation on a global scale.
