Dr. Nazir Ayyad, Egypt's Grand Mufti, extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Holiness Pope Tawadros II and the Christian community on the occasion of Christmas.

During his visit, accompanied by His Eminence Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, Dr. Ayyad emphasized the importance of reinforcing national unity and fostering solidarity between Muslims and Christians in Egypt to address common challenges.

He also called for an immediate end to the aggression on Gaza and urged alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people, underscoring that religious occasions are an opportunity to shed light on critical humanitarian issues.
