Aselamu aleykum mufti i wanted to ask if its permissible for two people can have nikah and live separately for 2 years as long as the husband and the wife agree on it

In Islamic law, there is no objection to doing so long as there is a mutual agreement between spouses. However, anyone of them is entitled to ask his/her spouses to nullify this agreement at any time.
